The Emergency Care Center at Sharon Regional is staffed 24 hours a day with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, paramedics, and technicians. Our team combines world-class medical expertise with first-in-class safety protocols, so you’ll get the right care, treatment, and attention you need – right here in our hospital.
Located close to home at the main campus of Sharon Regional Health System, our dedicated team of emergency providers are prepared to handle all types of emergencies including trauma, psychiatric emergencies, poisonings, illnesses, and injuries.

Understanding Treatment Time
Our team is committed to treating everyone that comes to the Emergency Care Center where patients will be triaged in a timely manner by an experienced nursing staff member before being seen by a skilled emergency medical practitioner.

Upon arrival, patients and visitors will be screened by our highly trained security team. This is to ensure the highest level of safety and security for those seeking care in our facility.
Express Care Services
For minor illnesses and injuries, The Emergency Care Center also offers Express Care Services for both pediatric and adult patients. Designated Care Team staff are available to assess and treat non-urgent medical issues and offer the availability of a higher level of care, if needed.
How Express Care Services Work
After arrival at the Emergency Care Center, patients will receive an initial evaluation and triage by a registered nurse or provider. Express Care generally allows for faster treatment in the following situations:
- Lacerations, small burns, and puncture wounds
- Minor fractures
- Sprains and strains
- Allergic reactions
- Skin infections, rashes, and poison oak/ivy
- Fever, flu, sore throats, earaches, colds, and other similar symptoms
- Eye problems
- Sinus and other infections
