Visitation
Our visiting policy is flexible because we believe family and friends are integral to the physical and emotional well-being of our patients. Please understand there may be times where visitors may be asked to temporarily leave a patient’s room for testing, procedures, or other reasons. For specific visiting questions, please check with the patient care unit’s clinical staff. Any visitors coming after 8 p.m. must stop at the Security Desk located at the entrance to the Emergency Care Center to receive a visitor badge.
At Sharon Regional, patient satisfaction is our priority. If you have any concerns during your hospital stay, please contact our Patient Care line at 724-983-7373. You may also request to speak with a patient care manager or nursing supervisor.

Patient and Visitor Information
Checking On A Loved One
Checking on a loved one or visits during a hospital stay from the people our patients care about are an important part of healing. We welcome our patients’ friends and family, and we seek to provide an environment that is comfortable, nurturing, and considerate of our patients’ needs.
Family and friends of the patient can call directly to the room instead of going through the hospital operator. It is the patient’s responsibility to inform family members and friends of their phone number.
Smoke-Free Facility
As a health care facility, Sharon Regional Health System takes seriously its responsibility to model healthy behavior. Our tobacco-free policy means that patients, visitors, employees, and physicians are prohibited from using tobacco products anywhere inside or outside health system properties located in Sharon, Hermitage, New Castle and Mercer, PA.
