Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction plumbing, HVAC, and remodeling projects, with a strong understanding of schematics and mechanical systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems within the hospital and medical office settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment
- Trouble shoots, repairs, and installs piped equipment, plumbing systems, plumbing controls, boilers, boiler room equipment, steam system piping, and components.
- Performs preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance particularly on trade specialty equipment and systems.
- Manages and operates boiler water treatment program.
- Maintains records.
- Performs snow removal and grounds keeping.
- Practices all work place safety requirements.
- Maintains the safety of the environment.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent
- Post high school training in a trade or technology and 2 years experience in institutional, commercial, or industrial general maintenance work.
- Clearances: As required by Federal and State Law
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, HVAC, remodeling, or related fields
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and schematics reading
