Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Corporate Health Services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings. This role requires the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret lab results.
  • Administer medications, including injections, IV infusions, and other treatments as necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, and home care environments.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Required: MSN โ€“ nurse practitioner focus
  • Experience: One year experience
  • Certification: CPR preferred
  • Licensure: CRNP Required
  • Clearances: As required by Federal and State Law

Skills

The ideal candidate should possess a combination of essential skills, including but not limited to:

  • Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
  • Experience in critical care settings, including ICU or Level I/II trauma centers.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards.
  • Strong assessment skills for triage and patient evaluation.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
